PERFORMER
Fred’s music will remind you of Elton John, Neil Diamond, Jerry Lee Lewis and Gordon Lightfoot. His outrageous talent flies through his piano and guitar to accompany his magical vocals. There’s music and mischief of the highest caliber here in a captivating performer who has delighted audiences from the Filmore West, Agape International, and Ryman Auditorium to the New Orleans Jazz Fest. This man and his powerful music will move you deeply.

PRODUCER/ENGINEER
In 1992 he moved to Nashville where he ran the famous Studio B and C on Music Row. Fred has produced, played on, and/or engineered nearly four thousand recordings. He has worked with Conway Twitty, Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Amy Grant, Vassar Clements, LeAnn Rhimes and many others. The folks in Nashville coined a new term called “Frediting” for his brilliance in editing. Fred introduced digital multitrack recording and editing to Nashville. He has also played on and engineered the music for a Hollywood movie starring David Carradine and Mariel Hemingway.

AWARD-WINNING PRODUCTION SKILLS
Fred now includes three Grammy-nominated albums among the many CD projects he has produced for various artists and organizations throughout the country. He is the owner and producer/engineer of his own studio in Louisville, KY, Briarpatch Audio Productions.

TEAMBUILDING EVENTS

With his quick wit and commanding presence, Fred does song-writing and team-building events with corporations such as Outback, Sonic, Dr. Pepper, and others. Fred also works with helping children to write songs together. He played an active part with the Nashville Chamber Orchestra’s “Kid Pan Alley” project taking songwriting into the local schools then turning it into a CD featuring kids and well-known singers.

WORKSHOP LEADER
Fred travels to groups or churches, bringing his One Voice Workshop where people - whether musical or not - come together, and find their own “song”. It expands creativity, builds community and helps to build team spirit. It truly is a transformative experience. A group song is the result of the workshop which Fred then records with his “portable studio” and gifts the group with this memento of their joined creativity.

So besides being someone who will deepen an audience’s experience of their own inner essence…he will provide lightness and laughter. He is quick on his feet, an entertaining speaker and brings a solid message, grounded in positive principles. He often weaves music into a talk, but no matter how the message is presented, he will touch you with his heart.

MUSIC MINISTRY .
Fred Bogert has been called a musical genius and while his talent is awesome, what will win you is his heart. He served as Music Director for a church in Florida for 7 years, then later produced an album of children’s music for the Association of Unity Churches for the Year of the Child in 1993. He currently serves at Ridgewood Baptist Church as Minister of Music, Highland Baptist’s Friday Church music director and at Unity of Middletown on Thursday nights as pianist, song-leader and soloist.

He has traveled all over the United States giving talks, providing music and performing concerts at churches since 1989. He also provides music for Church Retreats and Minister’s Conferences, usually writing a special song for the event.
